Vietnamese Handicraft Suppliers are well-known for their handcrafted products, which contribute to the country’s cultural legacy as well as job creation.
Millions of employment have been created for the local workforce, raising their level of living and preserving ancient cultures.
1. Various Natural Material Resources
Vietnamese Handicraft Suppliers have a vast number of handicraft products. Tropical Vietnam is known for its bamboo, seagrass, water hyacinth, and rattan. These elements created an infinite source of materials for artisans to create handmade things. In 1931, Vietnam rattan and bamboo goods were on display at the Paris Fair. Customers have favored over 200 goods that have traveled all around the world.
Before this plant was employed as a raw material for handicraft products, its existence was thought to be insignificant. This plant, however, has grown important as a natural material for handicraft creations.
Craftsmen have transformed seemingly useless tree trunks into serving trays, wallets, bowls, storage baskets, placemats, flower pots, lamp shades, and so on.

2. Working on Success Flows
The handicrafts industry is one of the most potential industries in Vietnam. With around 1500 handicraft villages functioning in Vietnam, it employs approximately 10 million craftspeople and generates annual sales of more than $ 1 billion.
Handicraft workers are estimated to earn far more than farmers. The handicraft sector has enhanced rural income and made significant efforts to reduce poverty.
As a result, the government is making numerous efforts to promote handicraft villages where tourism and handicrafts are linked. Many attempts are being taken to attract more tourists to the country to promote the handicrafts business.
According to UN Comtrade Statistics (from the International Trade Centre (ITC) Online Database), from 2011 to 2018, Vietnam exported handicrafts to many countries, with total exports of all commodities increasing from US$96.9 billion in 2011 to US$243.48 billion in 2018, a 151 percent increase over the period.
Furthermore, Vietnam’s handcraft exports are expected to rise at a rate of more than 12% per year, with a total value of $5 billion by 2025.

Bamboo-made products and pottery and ceramic products performed well in the first eight months of the current year, with exports totaling $135 million and $200 million, respectively. Handicraft products from Vietnam have gained a footing in 163 countries and areas throughout the world, including Germany, France, the United States, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.
According to the center, exports of handmade products reached about one billion US dollars in 2008, a 33.3 percent growth year on year, followed by a steep drop in exports in 2009 and regaining the position so far in 2010.
