On the afternoon of September 20th, 2022, in Hanoi, Mrs. Pamela Coke-Hamilton – Chief Executive Officer of the International Trade Center (ITC), a joint cooperation agency of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the United Nations (UN) – Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, has visited Simple Decor’s production facility.
ITC Supports Vietnam in Green Conversion and Greening Business Activities
The visit aims to support small and medium businesses to develop their export capability and enhance their competitiveness in international trade. ITC has always been an important and reputable partner of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) in providing technical support that contributed to the building and perfecting of the institutions and export-development policies to exploit Vietnam’s potential and advantages, enhancing the capacity of policymakers and business support organizations in the export sector, and supporting small and medium businesses to improve export competitiveness.
The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) selected ITC to support the MOIT in implementing the Trade Policy and Export Promotion Project funded by the Swiss Government. This project is essential in helping the MOIT formulate the Strategy and Action Program to implement the Import-Export Strategy, contributing to realizing the targeted economic growth in the current context.
The Visit Marks the Strong Development of Simple Decor JSC
During the visit to Simple Decor’s facility, ITC and Simple Decor’s team had a pleasant lunch and a conversation about the upcoming development orientation of the company. With the sustainable development goals for society, Mrs. Pamela Coke-Hamilton highly appreciates the spirit and responsibility of the Simple Decor collective.
The visiting delegation at the facility had a chance to participate in our production process, from product development to quality control and product preservation. In particular, Mrs. Pamela has joined with the artisan in experiencing the product development activities at the workshop.
